General Housekeeper Description:

We provide housekeepers for every household need. A housekeeper’s main responsibility is to perform a general household cleaning. This includes making sure all assigned areas of the home are clean, neat, and tidy and any indoor house cleaning and organizing tasks assigned by the employer that may regularly include cleaning “projects” (e.g., cleaning and organizing a messy closet). Typical responsibilities are vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows, replacing bed linen as needed, sanitizing bathrooms and kitchen, and household laundry and ironing. Some positions may also include cooking or food preparation.

Housekeepers can be hired on a weekly or hourly salary. Since every individual and family has different needs, there are varying availabilities::

  • Live In (5-6 days per week)
  • Full Time Live Out (40 hours plus per week)
  • Part Time Live Out (16-30 hours per week)
  • Temporary Live In/Out

Flat fee service:

You can also hire a housekeeper/maid once a week, bi weekly, monthly, or a one time house clean service to perform basic cleaning in your home. They will work for a flat fee (not hourly rate). They will accept extra work for an additional fee for things like cleaning windows, inside refrigerator, laundry, ironing, running errands, grocery shopping, dropping off and pick up laundry from dry cleaners,

  • Every home is unique; so, the price will depend on the size of the house, the condition of cleanliness, and how often you will need the cleaning services.

House Keeper/House Manager:

A Housekeeper/House Manager’s primary role is to manage, direct and oversee the daily details and general operation of a home.  They provide detailed upkeep and maintenance of the household to ensure that each aspect of the home is operating at its best and assist the employer with overall household management. Responsibilities often include deep cleaning, organizing, laundry/ironing, shopping for household supplies, vendor supervision, cooking for the family, scheduling contractors and  supervising home maintenance projects. This position also provides additional support to the employers and assistance with hands-on services such as shopping for personal items, coordinating weekly dinner menu, running errands, and occasionally working nights or weekends to maintain the home and provide assistance with the pets when the employers are away.
